Beá's Book.
This is the first moly_x book to be completed. This is a very goofy image with no particular meaning. I also added a little scene outside Aggo's window. I am ggoing to scan the entire book (both sides) this weekend, and I hope to send it Monday or Tuesday. It is going to be hard for me to send this book back to Beá. I want to keep it.

bea-marty-aggo-jill- senyol hurray!
I THINK this one is going back to Marty?
Let me know, as it is ready to post!
I followed Aggo's lead here with a bit of journey drawing, which helped me pass time on the long train journey from my bit of the world in Scotland to London, one very hot, muggy and grimy day.
There are more drawings overleaf - but I'll keep them a surprise.
It strikes me that everyone looks so miserable when they are travelling - but that could just be the train network in the UK!
Moly 1 is back on track! I have not received any other sketchbooks for this - am I due any?

Jill's book
Hello, everyone. I had a great time doing this book. I'm having fun doing this more graphic illustrative style. I love, love, love, drawing with ink. Jill's color under this image is so stylish. It has such a late 60's, early 70's ad illustration style that I would never have accomplished on my own. The team work is fun. Jill, I wish you would do some more in this book Your artwork is so much fun to work with. I wish everyone had the chance. Maybe we should send it back to you for more.
The overgrown urn in the forest falls later in the book. I did the ink drawing during the day on Saturday, and doodled on it that evening with ballpoint pen while watching BBC's "Sense and Sensibility" with my wife.
The book will be on its way to Brazil tomorrow.

Welcome to moly_x_1!
This group, founded by Beá Miera (Brazil) and Marty Harris (USA), is an extension of the Moleskine Exchange. This blog will follow the adventure of a group of artists around the world, in a Japanese fold Moleskine sketchbook exchange.
Each artist will set off with a small Japanese (accordian) folded Moleskine. Creating a drawing, collage, or painting, then send on to the next artist. Each artist will draw on a couple of spreads (3-4 pages) then send it on to the next artist. When the artists book is filled, it will be returned to the owner with images created by artist around the world. Each artist has a month to make an entry. The outcome will be a pleasant and surprising adventure, as artists are encouraged to interact and merge their art with others.
The concept:
1. The artists start with the Japanese fold Moleskine - Name, address, email address written in book.
2. Each artist gets 1 month to make a sketchbook entry, and mail it to the next person. The order is listed to the right.
3. Each artist will do 3-4 pages each round.
4. Artists are encouraged to interact with other images in the book. Please be respectful.
5. When the book is full, when one side of the unfolded book is filled, the book will be sent back to its original owner. That artist may continue by buying a new book and sending it to the next person.
6. If a person decides not to continue, she will simply keep her book when it comes back to her. She should email all of the participants to say she is not going to continue. We will decide, then, if we want to find a new person.
7. Please communicate regularly via email. Let each person know that you have received/sent the book. The goal is to have a dialogue. Any comments and questions are welcome.
